IRFF-Bangladesh has been maintaining two primary schools in two remote villages near the capital city of Dhaka for more than 15 years. Our schools have given opportunities to study to the village children who had no school to learn nearby.

The Mackenzie Community School offers a free education to 250 students in grades one to four in the village of Mackenzie, located outside of Ndola.  There is a severe lack of access to education in the community as the Mackenzie Community School is the only in the village.  The school welcomes any child that is willing to learn and is taught by three teachers who volunteer their time.

Global Giving
The Supporting Success Scholarship Fund was begun by IRFF in the summer of 2006, in the poverty stricken Mackenzie Community of Ndola, Zambia. Its mission is to provide the opportunity of education to gifted students from impoverished families who cannot afford the expense of their education in developing countries where public primary school is not free or guaranteed. Without the sponsorship of Supporting Success, these students would otherwise be unable to pursue their education.
The Supporting Success Scholarship Fund is committed to the cause of providing children with the opportunity of an education as part of creating sustainable solutions for the developing world.  Supporting Success was begun in the summer of 2006 in Zambia, where we presented ten students living in the impoverished community of Mackenzie with scholarships to cover all of their expenses for one year of school.  Since then, it has grown in Zambia, where we are now sponsoring 17 students, and has expanded to Bangladesh, where we have recently sponsored our first class of 10 students in December, 2007
