The Oral Hygiene Campaign in Peru was an effort to provide dental services and education to children in impoverished neighborhoods of Arequipa, Peru. The campaign took place in two stages, over a period of four months in 2007.
The first session of the project, carried out in May, in association with “Nueva Arequipa”, served 47 children and adolescents from “Niño Jesús por Siempre”, a community organization in the district of Cerro Colorado. The second session was carried out in June in the district of Paucarpata, reaching 44 children and adolescents from “San Antonio de Padua”. Detail >> |
